Types of education opportunities
Many communities offer adults learning opportunities including the following:
- Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes to help improve basic reading, writing or math skills.
- General Education Development (GED) preparation classes to help improve skills in the 5 GED Exam subject areas: writing, social studies, science, mathematics, and literature and the arts.
- English as a Second Language (ESL) lessons to help improve basic understanding and use of the English language.
- Conversational Spanish or French classes to help bridge language barriers so you can communicate better with customers and fellow associates.
