We also recognize how vitally important a grocery store is to the communities we serve prior to and immediately following a significant weather event. Residents in affected areas count on our stores and pharmacies for must-have products and medication.

Our goal is to find the best balance between serving our communities and customers' needs while ensuring your safety is never compromised.

In emergency situations, there can often be confusion with media reports of voluntary and mandatory evacuations. Our emergency response team continually monitors weather events, evacuation zones and road closures, and remains in constant contact with state and local officials to ensure we are complying with all directives. We follow all compulsory evacuation notices, and we do not deny an associate's request to voluntarily evacuate or leave to care for their family or property.

Weather events are fluid, and information may change moment to moment. These decisions are not made lightly, and we strive to communicate critical information to you as timely as possible.
